We recommend updating your business registration, CRA records, banking, and any client-facing materials before your cancellation date. We provide 30 days’ notice requirement specifically to allow time for this transition. If you need assistance with what to update, our team can walk you through the process.
Your mailing address is typically ready by the next business day. After payment, you will receive a welcome email with your address and setup instructions. If you sign up Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm, this email usually arrives within 2–3 hours. Sign-ups outside business hours are processed the following business day.
When mail or packages arrive, Empowered 4x sends you an email notification with a photo of what was received. You reply to let us know how you’d like it handled — pickup, scan and email, forwarding, or secure shredding. All options except forwarding are included in your monthly membership at no additional cost.
Mail is stored on-site until you instruct us how to handle it. You have 10 days from your notification email to respond with your preference — pickup, scan, forward, or shred. If no instructions are received within 10 days, a $2/item storage fee applies and is billed monthly until the mail is collected and fees are cleared. We do not store large boxes or bulk shipments at any of our locations.
We accept standard mail, envelopes, satchels, and small parcel bags on your behalf. We do not accept large boxes, bulk shipments, or oversized deliveries. These may be refused and returned to the sender. You can receive unlimited pieces of standard mail at no additional cost. If you are expecting a delivery and are unsure whether it meets our size guidelines, contact us in advance.
Please inform our office before expecting a non-Canada Post courier delivery so we can look out for it and collect it on your behalf. Couriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Purolator deliver on different schedules and may require someone to be present. Giving us advance notice ensures your package is received without issue.
Mail forwarding is not included in the base $35/month plan. It is available as an add-on at $25 per shipment plus applicable postage, tracking fees, and tax. Mail pickup, scanning, and secure shredding are included in your membership at no extra cost.
No. All virtual office plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime with 30 days’ written notice.
You can cancel your membership at any time by providing 30 days’ written notice. The notice period exists to give you time to update your business registration, CRA records, and any documents listing the address before it becomes inactive. No penalties or fees apply for cancellation.
We do not offer a trial period for virtual office memberships. However, we do offer a free trial day at our Brampton coworking space. Contact us to book your complimentary day or book directly through our online calendar.
